Background Dr. Scott Jamison grew up in farm country of central Kansas. After serving in Vietnam with the U.S. Army and before delving into medical arts, Dr. Jamison received a B.A. from Emporia State College in fine arts followed by a B.S. in human biology from Newman College in Witchita. He moved to Portland Oregon to attend the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, graduating in 1982. Upon his graduation, Dr. Jamison was recruitedby the newly formed Alaska Holistic Health Association to move to Juneau to begin his new practice. As the first naturopathic physician in that city, he established the Juneau Wellness Center which became a hub of alternative health practioners.

Dr Jamison continued his education in advanced homeopathy through the International Foundation for Homeopathy in Seattle and eventually studied with George Vitalkis in Greece. He appeared in Bill Moyer’s PBS series “Healing and the Mind” in 1986-7.

At the end of 1995, Dr. Jamison sold his Juneau practice and moved to Tucson, Arizona. In addition to establishing his own private practice, Dr. Jamison served as the co-founder and the first Medical Director of the Alternative Medicine Program with the Pasqua Yacqui Health Department from 1998 to 2002. From 2004-2007, he served as the Associate Investigator at Tucson’s Advanced Magnetic Research Institute.

Finally in 2007, Dr. Jamison purchased and established his new clinic in Tucson near St. Joesph’s Hospital.
